My art can be described as Contemporary Romanticism, blending photography and painterly abstraction to explore and capture the sublime beauty of nature and the enduring mystery of the world around us. Using hand-held long exposures and natural light, I paint with my camera, gently moving through each scene to transform texture, color, form, and atmosphere into expressive imagery inspired by the luminous brushwork of the Impressionists and the emotional depth of the Romantic Period.

What Makes My Work Unique

• In-Camera Impressionism/Expressionism. Every image is created in-camera using long exposures and intentional movement. 

• Painterly Emotion: Inspired by brushwork from the Old Master's. I aim to evoke emotion through light, blur, atmosphere and texture—like painters once did with oils.

• Nature as Muse: I don’t document landscapes—I interpret them, by utilizing trees, water and skies as materials to craft imagery in visual poetry.
